CELOX Granules

CELOX Granules are a flaky powders that are small, flat, lightweight and easy to store and carry. To use - tear it open, pour it on and apply pressure. It's that simple!

CELOX Gauze Roll & Gauze Pads

Full-strength CELOX granules are bonded to the surface of CELOX gauze, which has a more stable, denser consistency than traditional thready gauze and does not compact under pressure. Just pack the injury and apply pressure. Most bleeding is stopped in under three minutes, with little or no occurrence of re-bleed.

CELOX Nosebleed Dressing

CELOX Nosebleed Dressing is a small, specially-shaped pad bonded with full-strength CELOX granules. The pad may be easily inserted into the nostril to stop bleeding fast.

Celox™ Technology Saves Lives.

When it comes into contact with blood, Celox™ forms a robust gel plug in 30 seconds. It works independently of the body’s normal clotting processes and Celox™ clotting ability has been proven to work in the presence of common anti-coagulant blood thinning medications like Coumadin, Warfarin and Heparin. CELOX works in cold (hypothermic) conditions and unlike other products, it generates no heat and will not burn the injured party or the person administering aid.

In tests on swine by the US Navy in Jacksonville, Celox™ to get 100% survival. Celox™ is made with chitosan. Chitosan is broken down by lysozyme, a human enzyme, to leave glucosamine, a sugar which is normally found in the body***.

How It Works

Celox granules absorb water in the blood to form a robust gel plug. In addition the Celox Granules work by becoming extremely adherent when in contact with blood. This adhesive-like action seals the wound and controls bleeding.
